Consider Your Destiny

We are rapidly approaching the end of this age. As such, the church is eagerly awaiting the soon return of Jesus. Much of the Church is asleep, anticipating the rapture as the next grand event on God's calendar. However, there is yet a mighty work to be done and a great harvest of souls to be reaped before the jubilant trumpet blast that will signal our departure from this earth realm.

Thousand of years ago, God declared to Moses that all the earth would be filled with the glory of the Lord (Numbers l4:2l). God never utters a word, but that it surely comes to pass. There is a generation destined to cooperate with the Lord and fulfill this mandate. It appears, we could well be that generation.

It is essential for the Church (the Bride of Christ) at this time in history to have a heart revelation of her true identity and the incredible role she is destined to perform in God's grand end-time drama. As His Bride, we must continually remind ourselves that we are not in here in this earth by chance or accident, rather by divine appointment. We have been hand-picked by our Heavenly Father to be part of the prophesied “last days” generation; the generation that will reach spiritual completion and “be filled (through all your being) unto all the fullness of God – (that is) may have the richest measure of the Divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself” (Ephesians 3:l9). It is this body, the Bride of Christ, who will rise up mighty in God and display for the entire world to see the beauty and power of redemption manifest in human flesh as the glory of God fills his temple.

We were born for this day and hour – the time of the end – the culmination of all things; the day that the prophets prophesied about and longed to see. That which God has done in the past will pale in comparison to the immensity of that which He will accomplish in the closing day of time in and through His glorious Bride.

Destined for Gloriousness

Every generation has had its role to play in the out-workings of God's plans and purposes. Our generation has been destined and appointed to become the glorious Church, and as such, “house” a fullness of the glory of God. (See articles: Wake Up Sleeping Beauty; All Gloriousness Within) Paul writes of God's magnificent intention for the Church: “That it (the church) might develop) until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the full and accurate knowledge of the Son of God; that (we might arrive) at really mature manhood – the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection – the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, and the completeness found in Him” (Ephesians 4:l3).

God's eternal purposes will be realized as we are transformed into the likeness of Christ, becoming a reflection of His glorious beauty. In Isaiah 60:7, we read, “...My glorious house will I glorify.”

This awesome destiny of gloriousness that has been conferred upon us will become a wonderful reality through (and only through) the workings of the Holy Spirit within us. No matter how spiritually mature we become, we can't glorify ourselves. Our glorification is a supernatural, sovereign act of God and His grace. It is, and always will be, God, who glorifies us.

Without the Holy Spirit activity, nothing of any eternal significance can be worked in our hearts and lives including our transformation into the image of Christ. Day by day, and step by step, the Holy Spirit is leading us into greater and greater degrees of glorification and transformation. This precious one, is the priority of the Holy Spirit's work in the Church (Bride of Christ) today. Oh, how blessed we are to have Him indwelling our inner most beings! How it behooves us to allow Him to mold us and prepare us, readying us for our role in God's end-time plans and purposes; purposes like we read of in Isaiah Chapter 60: 'Arise' (from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you; 'rise' to a new life)! Shine – be radiant with the glory of the Lord; for 'your light is come', and the glory of the Lord is risen upon 'you'! For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness all peoples; but the Lord shall 'arise' upon 'you',...and His glory shall be seen on you” (Isaiah 60: 1-2).

Arise and Shine

Without argument, we are living in a time of intense darkness just as the prophet Isaiah declared for truly darkness is covering our earth and dense darkness the people. We are living in a world where chaos abounds. Things are happening before our very eyes that confirm to us that we are nearing the end of this age. Nations are rising against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms. Earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, hurricanes, droughts, and other natural disasters are intensifying and creating horrendous and costly destruction. These are serious, sober days.

Although these truly are critical times, for the people of God, our greatest days lie before us, for we carry within our spiritual belly a destiny greater than any previous generation. We are about to shine with heaven's glory and this shining will impact all of humanity.

Esther – God's Heroine

Throughout the Old Testament, we find wonderful pictures of the Bride of Christ. One such picture is seen in the life of Esther, an obscure adopted orphan, who was ordained of God to become the wife of the King of Persia. As you consider her story, you will recall that she arose in one of the darkest hours in the history of God's people. Without God's intervention, the Israelites would have been annihilated. However, one woman arose with great courage, willing to sacrifice her life if need be, in order to appeal to the King on behalf of her people. Her valiant courage changed the whole course of events determined against the Jewish race.

'Arising in the Glory'

“One woman” - the corporate Bride of Christ – is about to 'arise' in the midst of dense darkness and take her place before the King of Kings and petition for the great end-time harvest of souls. She, too, like Esther, will change the course of human history as multitudes come to her 'light' (Christ within, her hope of glory) and to the brightness of her 'rising' and respond to the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ!

In Son of Solomon 6:l0 we read, “....Who is this who looks forth as the dawn, fair as the moon, clear and pure as the sun, and terrible as a bannered host?” The question is asked, “Who is this glorious creation that arises as the dawn, fair (beautiful) as the moon, pure as the sun, and terrible (dreadful, awesome, fearsome) as an army?” Historically, this is a picture of Solomon's bride; prophetically, this is a portrait of the Bride of Christ arising in God's glory. In other words, this is a graphic image of the Church (us) at the end of the age.

Currently, the world mocks the Church. They consider her to be weak and powerless, having no real influence or relevance upon society. Let me tell you: In the not too distant future, the world will be asking a riveting question. They will be asking, “Who is this glorious creature who has arisen and wields so much authority that even the devils tremble in her presence?” What a day this will be!

In light of the lateness of the hour, the greatness of God's plan, and the hopeless desperation in our world, I exhort you to refuse to get caught up in what the enemy is doing (this present darkness) and focus on your Beloved God and the destiny He has designed for you to fulfill.

Prophetic Word

“You must know you are at a most strategic time in the entire plan of God. You must seize the moments of time. I have a great end-time plan, and every moment counts now. Things are not happening by chance. They are ordained of Me. I am raising up and putting down in order to position men and women in My end-time plan. Don't be alarmed as you see great changes taking place in the world. I am God and besides Me there is no other. I will be known as Almighty God in the closing days of time. My plan will not be altered for I have a people prepared and positioned to obey My every command. It is together we shall trample the powers of darkness and bring in the new day.

There is still much that must take place. However, it will happen quickly. You are on the verge of the greatest move of God ever – a move that will cover the earth. All flesh shall see and experience the power of My Presence. I have been preparing you for this very day and hour. You don't think you are ready. You don't feel you are glorious. However, you have been changing toward My glory and once My glory 'rises' in you, it will dominate your whole being. You will yield to My glory, and My glory will do a sanctifying work in you, for My glory sanctifies. My glory separates. My glory will separate you from this world, and it's defiling influences. You will be a special treasure unto Me for you will be wholly Mine. My heart has longed for a people since the beginning of time who were wholly Mine. It is from this position that we are one.

Your greatest days lie before you, for they are days of “oneness” with Me. These will be for you as the days of heaven upon earth. Heaven shall saturate your being, and you will no longer be dominated by the natural realm. You will realize that you are of another world – My world. You will live in the spirit, for My realm will become more real to you than this present world, and all that can be seen with the natural eye. Your eye will be trained on seeing beyond the seen, and your ear will be sensitized on hearing that which cannot be heard with the physical ear. You will see and know things beyond the human understanding. This I have reserved for My people who are wholly Mine; those who have become one with Me.

It is time. It is time for My life and My glory to fill your being. I am calling you to Myself. I am giving you the opportunity to become all that I can make you. Yield to Me and you will see you are no longer who you used to be – a product of this natural world. You will have become the product of My workmanship – beautiful and glorious and set apart for Me. You will be heaven's product in this earth. When My plan has been completed, you will come home to be with Me. Forever and forever, you will spend eternity with Me. You are My chosen Bride to be.
