GIVEN A CHOICE

Scripture: Deuteronomy 30:l9..'I call heaven and earth to witness
against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing
and cursing. Therefore, choose life, that you and your offspring may
live.'
Ezekiel 33:11..'Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord God,I have no
pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his
wicked ways and live; turn back from your evil ways, for why will you
die, Oh House of Israel?'
Look at the above scriptures. Who was the Lord speaking to? Was
he speaking to the gentiles and those outside the fold? No, He wasn't.
He was speaking to His very people...the House of Israel.
In light of these above scriptures, It seems in our world today that
many of us in the Body of Christ have forgotten that our everyday
decisions will still have significant consequences. We feel our actions
are all right in the light of God's grace. However, we have forgotten that
a true believer dies to sin and their lives are transformed by the
renewing of their mind as the Presence of God through the Holy Spirit
comes and dwells within. Those who are truly His are called to align to
the will of God in holiness and to experience Him throughout our
everyday lives. And, it is in this day-by-day surrender and interaction
through our obedience that true blessings and power come down from
Heaven.

Today, we still stand at the crossroads, a time where the path of life
and the path of death are clearly laid out for us To choose life means to
align ourselves with Christ, to follow His lead and obey His
commandments, to love Him with all of our hearts, soul, mind, and
strength...and with all our might! And, to choose death is to reject
God's love, to turn away from His ways and live as we want to, and to
decide to still walk in our darkness. Just know that this path can only
end in ultimate destruction and despair.
CLOSING PRAYER: Choosing life is not a one time decision. Help us
to choose wisely as we come to the moment of our Lord Jesus Christ's
return. It is time the to look to the Lord and hear what He is saying to
the Churches. The time is short, Dear Father, Jesus is right at the
door. But, Lord, we are not ready. We have been listening to the
belief's of men instead of Your true meaning of what is required in your
Word. Forgive us, for we have been fearful of the movement of your
Presence and Spirit in many of our churches. Let us stop and see what
you would have us do as we once again listen to Your still, small voice.

'Watch, Repent, and Prepare for your soon
return and most importantly...Be Ready!' In Jesus' Holy Name...Amen.
