ONE NEW MAN

Scripture Verse: Ephesians 2:l4-22. 'For He is our peace, the One Who has made both things into one and Who has loosed the dividing wall of the fence, cause of the enmity to the flesh 15. by His nullifying the tradition of the commandments by decrees, so that He could create the two, Jewish and non-Jewish, into One New Man, establishing peace 16. so He could reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, as God killed their enmity by by means of Y'shua (Jesus). 17. And, when He came, He proclaimed the Good News of peace to you, to those far away, and peace to those near: 18. because through Him we both have the introduction to the Father by the means of one Spirit. 19. Therefore, then, you are no longer aliens and strangers, but you are fellow citizens of the saints and members of the household of God, 20. building upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Messiah Y'shua (Jesus)being His cornerstone, 21. in whom the whole building being constructed is being fit together into a holy sanctuary in the Lord, 22. and in whom you are built together into a holy habitation of God by the Spirit.' ...The One New Man Bible

Scripture Verse: Romans 11:11-17...Israel's Rejection Not Final...vs.11...'I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. 12. Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness! 13. For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, 14. if by any means I may provoke to jealousy 'those who are' my flesh and save some of them(Jews). 15. For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16. For if the first fruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you 'being a wild olive tree' were grafted in among them, and with them (the Jews) became partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, 18. do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that 'you' do not support the root (Christ), but the root supports you.'

Recently, I happened to see a photo of an olive tree that grows right across from the Eastern Gate in Jerusalem that grows in the Garden of Gethsemane. It shows two separate sections joined together under the same root, one to the left, and one to the right. You would not think this possible; but, the top of the tree revealed that both the wild root on the left was joined and flourishing right along with the main branches on the right. The tree top was united at the top and made an amazing canape over the top of the tree.

I became fascinated with that tree and the scriptures above jumped off the page as I was mesmerized thinking how the Lord has it planned that we become one and also flourish, to bring about true Biblical unity and this all to come together in these end times.

So, I went searching. Trusting the Lord to explain it to me so I could in turn share His awesomeness and glory and ultimate plan with you.

Why had Jews and Gentiles grown apart? Through my studies, I have found that it started back in the times of Constantine. And, the question kept me pondering...how could the Lord ever bring us back together again as even some believers feel God has forsaken the Jews?

'God wants to “gather together in one all things in and through Jesus”. (Ephesians l:l0b). He tells us how He will do this: ...For He Himself is our peace, who has made both (Jew and Gentile) one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation...to create in Himself one new man...in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit”

(Ephesians 2:l4-l5-22).

When the wall between Jew and Gentile is removed, the spiritual temple, God's dwelling place, will be restored. This One New Man will release resurrection power to the church that Paul calls “life from the dead”..(Romans ll:l5). I believe we will witness miracles and a physical resurrection as well...as evidenced already by many, many miracles happening today.

But, just the idea of this cannot be making our enemy (the devil very happy). The devil is trying to stop the explosion of God's power by stopping the building of God's dwelling place, the coming together of the Bride of Christ. If the foundation is destroyed, this spiritual temple cannot be built. So, the enemies plan is to stop the Jews from becoming one with Gentiles.

There are other proofs in scripture of Jews and Gentiles coming together as one new man. The “tabernacle” prophesied by Amos is one type of the one new man. 'On that day I will raise up the tabernacle (literally, 'dynasty or 'family') of David (the Jewish people) which has fallen down, and repair its damages; I will raise up the ruins, and rebuild it as the days of old; that they may possess the remnant of Edom (Septuagint reads...'mankind'), and all the Gentiles who are called by My Name, ' says the Lord who does this thing.” Amos 9:11-12.

But, why is this tabernacle so important to our Lord? This tabernacle of David was a 'unique' temple. There was no separation between the people and God. There was no “Holy of Holies”.

All experienced God's presence. Daily praise was instituted by David before the Lord (1 Chronicles l6:37) The Levites worshiped God with the songs of David. God had promised that once this tabernacle (family of David) or the Jewish people was restored, it would cause a revival among the Gentiles (Amos 9:l2). In fact, this is the proof text to convince the Apostles at the Jerusalem Council meeting to evangelize the Gentiles.

After Jesus died, the veil of the temple was rent in two (Matt. 27:51). Now, nothing should separate us from intimacy with God. Yet, the middle wall of separation (veil) between the Jews and Gentiles hinders the church from achieving its full destiny in God because the majority of Jewish people are excluded. (Ephesians 2:l4).

According to Joel 3:l8, a fountain will be released 'from the house of the LORD.” Amos 9:l3 talks about when the Jewish people receive their Messiah, the blessings of revival among the Gentiles will be so great that we will not be able to contain all the new believers.

But, when will this happen?

Psalm l02:l3-16 says...”You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come. For Your servants take pleasure in her stones, and show favor to her dust. So the nations shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth Your glory. For the LORD shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory.”

When the servants, the Jewish people, take pleasure in (or return to) Israel, the Lord will build up Jerusalem. When the Lord builds up Zion (Jerusalem), He will appear in His glory. This prophecy was written for 'the generation to come' The Hebrew could be translated 'for the last generation'.......

The Old Covenant glory is the “former rain”. When the former rain teams up with the “latter rain”, or the New Covenant glory, we will experience a move of God like the world has never seen. In other words, the Jew needs the Gentile Christian and the Gentile Christian needs the Jew for a full release of God's glory from the Tabernacle of David. The One New Man is the reformation that will cause the restoration of intimacy with God that was experienced in the Early Church.'

Today, we hear of the rising up of Messianic Judaism...those who have accepted Christ as their Messiah. In my experience in watching their teachings on the web or through television, it is like I'm looking at a lit light bulb but the light bulb has been of low voltage. It shines but seem lithargic and sluggish.

What I have been taught considering the One New Man is the light has turned brilliantly bright...like looking at Jesus' Glory shining more then I could ever thought possible on this side of Heaven.

Back to that olive tree in the Garden of Gethsemane, I can see what the Lord has planned for those who live for Him with their whole heart, joined together in Christ Jesus, whether the original or the wild root, united through the Holy Spirit will accomplish great things in and through His Spirit in these Lasts Days. Hallelujah!

Until He Comes.....
