Reflecting Christ In Unity

My Brothers and Sisters-in-Christ....We live in a time where opinions
clash like waves in a stormy sea. Everyone seems to be shouting trying
to make their voice the loudest, trying to prove their point as the most
righteous. But, let me remind you, it is not about being right in the eyes
of man. It is about being righteous in the eyes of God.
The world is full of noise. People argue, debate, and confront each
other over every little thing. But, in all this chaos, where is the 'Love of
God'? Where is the 'compassion'? The Bible tells us that 'love is
patient, love is kind', and 'it does not envy'. Yet, we see people today
quick to anger, quick to judge, and slow to show grace. My friends, this
is not the way the Lord has called us to live.
We are not called to win arguments. We are called to win souls. The
loudest voice in the room is not the one that echoes in eternity; it is the
quiet, humble Spirit that reflects Christ's love. When Jesus walked on
the earth among us, He didn't force his ways into our hearts through
confrontation. He didn't shout down the Pharisees to make His point.
Instead, He spoke with love and back up His words with actions that
healed, restored, and uplifted. He taught us that true power is not
proving others wrong but in showing them the right way through love
and compassion. Today, the challenge before us is not to be louder in
our opinion but to be stronger in our love for God and others.
It is easy to get caught up in the world's ways of doing things-arguing,
debating, and confronting those who think differently. But, in Christ, we
are called to a 'higher standard'. We are to be 'peacemakers', to be
'light' in the darkness, and to show the world that there is a better way.
Ephesians 4: 2-3 urges us that there is a better way. It says, 'Be
completely humble and gentle; be patient; bearing one another in love.
Make every effort to keep the 'Unity of the Spirit' in the bond of peace.
Unity doesn't come through confrontation. It comes through love.
Are you trying to win hearts? Remember, the greatest testimony you
can give isn't what you say but by what you do and how you live your
life. And, as we do, we will see God work through us in ways that
transform not only our lives but the lives of those around us as well.
Amen.
