Reflections

Listen to these words found in the Book of John, Chapter 3:27-29...'John (the Baptist) replied, 'God in heaven appoints each person's work. I am here to 'prepare the way' for Him—that is all. The Bride will go where the Bridegroom is. A Bridegroom's friend rejoices with him. I am the Bridegroom's friend and I am filled with joy at His success.'

John the Baptist spoke from the wilderness calling God's people to 'Repent, Prepare, Watch, and Be Ready' for their Messiah was about to appear.

Two thousand years later, our Bridegroom is about to appear to bring forth a Glorious Bride clothed in her beautiful wedding garments, Her oil lamp full.

The Spirit of Elijah was upon John the Baptist as he preached of the coming Messiah.

Two thousand years later, the Spirit of Elijah speaks through God's people today. Again, God in heaven appoints each person's work.

'This is the time of the Great Harvest. Just as a natural eunach is given entirely to 'preparing' the

Bride for the King and has no desire for her as He is not even able to; these will be completely given to 'preparing' the Church for her King. Their whole purpose is to see the King's joy because they are truly His friends. These will follow Him wherever He goes.' (The calling l973)

The Lord says in Isaiah 52...'AWAKE...AWAKE....Put on Your Beautiful Garments.'

As the Lord brought those truths before my heart, my soul just broke into praise at the coming return of our Bridegroom. Lessons learned are coming as to the Lord's desire to prepare His people for the wedding through scriptures we may have heard over and over again and teachings coming forth that will restore the ones He loves and help give birth to the Kingdom of God in it's fullness in our hearts and through our lives.

Through the Holy Spirit, these teachings are coming forth and Words from the Lord that will both bless and challenge. And, this writer was so excited at the love He wants to show forth to His church and Bride that I could hardly contain myself.

My heart went into praise and the Lord brought scriptures that helped me feel such a presence of the Lord as I sought Him in the quiet of my room.

As you sit quietly at your computer, feel free to approach the Lord. Please read these reflections and ponder God's wonder for yourself and then I will close with a special additional Word from the Lord.

And, finally... Deut.28:9...The Lord will establish you as His Holy People (His Bride), as He promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the Name of the Lord...

God speaks through His Word and through His people... Hear these concluding Words from Our Lord:

“Keep Seeking Me. Set your gaze upward upon Me, Your Hope, look to Me in all that you face, all that you do today for through the Blood of Jesus all things are possible and I AM...Even Now...transforming your darkness into My marvelous 'Light'.
