Walking With God - Part 6
'The Unanswered Call'
'A Testimony'

For many years, my life centered around denominational churches with their set
programs, weekly sermons, and Bible Studies. And, for years and years, I was
raised to abide by their teachings and doctrinal beliefs. And, thus, I just settled
into that old time religion and that tried and true position.
I worked 'for' God, did 'for' God; but, my life just resumed in my normal worldly
routine. There was no one saying that I had 'joined' God in what He was doing.' I
still characterized many of the worldly ways with all its judgmentalism, loved to
gossip and believing and tearing down others, loved some and not so much
others.
I was always taught that Christ was to be on the throne of my life. But, I had to
admit that it was more a divided task. At the right time, I could be sweet as pie;
but, get me angry and watch out! Back to church I would go all cleaned up and
acting pious knowing full well something in my heart was missing. The Lord
through His Word kept telling me that there was more for me, that He had so much
more for me if I truly wanted to receive it. But, I found my cozy spot in the church
and ultimately hardened my heart and refused to budge.
However, as life would have it, times got very tough and depressing. (See -

During that time, the Living God came and called me unto Himself even as the
nobody that I was. He came in such a marvelous way that I opened up my dead
heart and asked Him to come and dwell with me and me with Him. He showed me
that there was so much more for me to experience. I learned the scripture, 'They
will be done on earth as it is in heaven', wasn't just for later but could be realized
today.
But, that wasn't all. As His Presence came to dwell in my heart, I found He
would come and stand by my side. I began to see Him working in and through my
life in ways the church had never taught me, experienced open miracles and
leadings by His Spirit that many received healings and occurrences began to
happen far above anything I could have thought or could happen on my own. I
experienced watching His power manifest not only around me but through me. I
wondered why no one had ever told me that this life was even possible through all
those years in church. And, I wondered why I had waited so long, holding back in
my dry, unfruitful life, just sticking to the beliefs and doctrines of men instead of
going on with God and His glory showing up with each new day?
He came to me - just as He was- full of glory, the deepest love, His mighty
direction and power. But, also, He came with a 'deep sadness on His heart'.
He said, "My people no not my character. They think they do but they do not.' He
knows that we are in the Last of Days before His return. He has been calling His
church to 'Awaken'. We have heard so many salvation messages but they have
all always just ended at 'the cross'. However, His Word also says in John l0:
10...'The thief does not come except to steal, rob, and destroy. I have come that
they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.' Also see
Ephesians 3:20; Ephesians 5: 26-27; I John 2:17. It is God's will that we receive
His very Presence inside our heart.

Here is the problem - We are satisfied and all comfy cozy in our life right now, in
what we have believed since perhaps our childhood. We have become 'set in our
ways', especially those of us who are older. We can gloat that we can quote
scripture after scripture, just happy in our complacency.
BUT...THE LORD HAS BEEN CALLING...iSAIAH 43:L8-19 - 'REMEMBER NOT
THE FORMER THINGS NOR CONSIDER THE THINGS OF OLD. BEHOLD, I AM
DOING A NEW THING, NOW, IT SPRINGS FORTH. DO YOU NOT PERCEIVE
IT? I WILL MAKE A WAY IN THE WILDERNESS AND RIVERS IN THE DESERT.

Now, hear the Words of the Lord found in a Vision of l961 by Tommy Hicks from
Winnepeg, Canada...God's miraculous power had just raised two people from the
dead in a small village close to Nairobi, Kenya.. He speaks about that miracle, '
But to us that happening may seem strange and a phenomenon, but that is

the beginning of these end-time ministries. God is going to take the do-
nothing, the unheard of, the no accounts. He is going to take every man and

woman and He is going to give to them this 'outpouring of the Spirit of God.'
In the Book of Acts, we read that"In the last days', God said, "I will pour out
My Spirit upon all flesh." I wonder if we realize what He meant when God said
that 'I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh? I do not think I could fully realize nor
could i understand the fullness of it, and then I read from the Book of Joel: "Be
glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God, for He hath given
you the former rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain,
the former rain, and the latter rain. (Joel 2:23) It is not just going to be the rain,
the former rain and the latter rain, but He is going to give to His people in the last
days a double portion of the Spirit of God!
Also, hear these words of this happening right now, in these End of Days...He
continues, 'I do not know how long I watched it. It seems the anointing came upon
people as I beheld Christ as He continued to stretch forth His hand. But, there
was a tragedy. There were many people as He stretched forth His hand toward
this one and toward that one, they simply bowed their head and began to back
away. And, as each of those who seemed to bow down and back away, they
seemed to go back into darkness. Blackness seemed to swallow them
everywhere.
The Lord God has been urgently calling, trying to 'awaken' the church to realize
that He wants to come give you more life than you could ever have imagined,
thought, or believed was possible...God dwelling with us and we with Him in
fullness. Many have backed away into that darkness of unbelief instead of openly
and lovingly coming to Him and accepting the abundance of blessing that He has
offered and has in store for those who come take their place by His side, unafraid
and accepting of all He is and has for us. He has so much in store for us as this
anointing comes among us! But, He is a God who never pushes or shoves.

He is calling You! How will you respond to that call?

CLOSING PRAYER: Father God, I am in awe at the unending depth of Your
goodness toward us. Even in my own sin, you chose to pour out Your love on me
so that I could experience an even greater measure of Your goodness. And, even
in as much as I know you, I want to know you even more. Every blessing and joy

of this life fills my heart with gratitude for all blessings flow from You. Right now in
the Name of Jesus I ask for your indwelling Presence to come upon me. Take all
of me and show me how exciting this all in the new birth can be. I am ready to get
to know you in ways that I could never have imagined. I am totally yours. Fill me
now, I pray. with Your Presence and Spirit so that I may receive a wise and
discerning heart. Guide me in Your Wisdom so I may walk even closer with you
and know the peace from within that only You can provide. In Jesus' Precious
Name...Amen.

Seek and you will find...Knock and the door will be opened unto you! God isn't a job. God is a joy!
